The Council of Catholic Women had two guest speakers at the October General Meeting. Senior Attorney Kevin Walsh shared information about the Guardian Ad Litem Program, the dependency court system, and the direct assistance non-profit organization Speak Up for Kids that provides assistance to the Guardian ad Litem Program. The Executive Director of Speak Up for Kids, Coleen La Costa, shared information regarding assistance with the needs of children who are currently involved in the dependency court system.
