The Saint Vincent DePaul Society was founded here at Saint Matthew Parish in 1994, shortly after the Parish itself was formed.  The objective of the Society is to provide material assistance, generally of a temporary nature, to those in need, within our Parish boundaries, regardless of race, color or creed. The names of the Society members, as well as the clients, are kept as confidential as possible.  Income for the Society to function is derived from donations from the Poor Boxes in the MCB, as well as the collections that are taken up on Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday and Thanksgiving Day.
